OILTOOLS: In all of the listed functions for Oiltools I worked in all aspects of
Solids Control, such as mud treatment, cuttings treatment and watertreatment,
both inside and outside the Oil-Industry. This varied through the years from simply
operating the equipment to designing custom made systems forspecific projects,
supervising and sales.
WASCO: During my employment with Wasco I was stationed in Nigeria on
behalf of Oiltools, to set up the Solids Controloperation in Nigeria, as well as
Congo,Gabon and Angola.
SOLREC: Solrec is a company I set up on behalf of the two partners,EPMS
Robert Bok and De Vries en Van De Wiel. The company specialised primarily in
receiving and treating waterbased mud and cuttings.Solids are separated into sand
and clay and dewatered, afterwhich these are reused as impermeable layers on old
dumpsites.Solrec later started a division, involved in the separation of and washing
of sand from dredging sludge, in order to reuse the sand.
AALDRING CONSULTANCY: was my own company,I worked for a few years
as independentSolids ControlConsultant.During this time I was active on a
numberof projects throughout Europe, for a variety of companies.Customers
included the following:
- NAM as assistant mud engineer(Swacocentrifuges,Thule shakers) on the

land rigs working for NAM

centrifuges
- WASCO and CKS in Nigeria.

two large projects,Obagionshore which included full onsite solids controland

NOV BRANDT: I worked on offshore rigs, supervising solids controland waste
management operations in Nigeria (Chevron’s Agbamiproject) and Angola
(offshore Cabinda on Chevron operations).
SEA TRUCKS GROUP: I joined Sea Trucks in 2010 as Warehouse Manager/
Logistics coordinator,to help reorganise the Store and make it a more efficient
organization.STG Store in Onne looks after more than 40 vessels and barges
(supply boats, pipe laying barges, accommodation/work barges, tug boats etc),
several workshops,a dry-dock and a fabrication company. Onne Store is also the
Nigerian reception and distribution centre for most imported goods for the
company, with further bases in Warri and Lagos.
