Hawkers, and Flee Markets, some state owned by institutions. However, unemployed
women and man who will be member of this Private Company have been in the forefront
to see it that this well-through initiative becomes a dream come true. Black Nell Group
was founded in 2012 by a group of males. It was registered as Private Company. The
Company is requesting 20m x 15m of stand. Black Nell Group is located in
Mmametlhake village in greater J.S Moroka municipality.

Private Company Act No. 14 of 2005. The board will be responsible for making all the
executive decision and to oversee the operation of the Private Company. Directors are
also member and shareholder of the Private Company

The project manager is an ex-official of the board. The project manager will manage the
day to day operation of the Private Company and report direct to the Board. The project
manager will also be responsible for implementing the Board resolutions. Other duties
will include networking with other Private Companies and stakeholders and the
marketing of Private Company’s products.

The Private Company will depend on professionals, particularly our part-time
bookkeeper for some financial management assistance. We also lack knowledge on
human resources issues however we plan to utilize our network of business associates to
advise us when the need arises.

4.1 PRODUCTS AND PRODUCE

Black Nell Group is located at Mmametlhake (Buildfontein) area in greater J.S Moroka
Municipality under Mpumalanga District, Mpumalanga province. Mmametlhake area is situated
approximately 50km east of Hammaskraal CBD (Central Business District) Mmametlhake is a
rural area settlement of Bakgatla- Ba Mokgoko people. Setswana is the most spoken language in
the area. The population of this community is estimated at 170 000 people. Unemployment is
said to be above 70%. Government is the main employer in Mmametlhake area. This is due to
lack of industries. Women and youth are said to be the most unemployed groups.
4.3 marketing strategy
The marketing strategy of Black Nell Group and will center on creating a corporate identity that
clearly defines our market niche and products and services that benefit our costumers. Other
specific marketing strategies will include the following:
4.3.1 Print advert
Keeping Black Nell Group name in front of the customer is necessary. We planed on running
limited space advert in the local newspaper to our name and numbers in front of the
customers. We may attempt to showcase a single produce effort to return revenue from the
advert.
4.3.2 Wordof mouth
By giving first-time customer great service and a fair price, the word is sure to spread. All
marketing decisions with regards to specific media choice, frequency, size and expenditure will
be contacted on and on- going basis with careful consideration of return generated.

Our most important vehicle for sales promotion will be our monthly special and discounts. In
the future, we plan to develop a leaflet for our products and produce.
