• Diverse 30-year career in the construction industry in Queensland, West Australia and Northern Territory.
Working on major residential, commercial, high-rise, mining, oil and gas, marine and infrastructure
projects, comprising roles as Structures Foreman, Supervisor, Foreman and Leading Hand for construction
sites and projects specialising in concrete, re-enforcing, formwork and earth works.

the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane as a Supervisor. While supervising with Purse Concreting was in charge of
looking after business in the absence of the owner Rex Purse.
• Working as Structures Foreman for Sunbuild on the Evolution Project, 33-storey tallest building in Darwin.
• Supervised crews of up to 25 steel fixers for New Concrete Co. Installation of reinforcing steel for 20
storey apartment block during 18 month project for Multiplex, Panorama Apartments in Perth WA.
• Worked on the Collie Power Station, a 170m high concrete slip form construction in Collie, WA.
• Acquired outstanding interpersonal relationship skills, honed project management forte and versatility to
adapt to varying conditions and work environments across remote locations.

MC TRUCK DRIVER - PERTH WA
• Driving Mc cement tankers from Perth to mine 2 hours north of Meekatharra to deliver cement and slag.
• Driving fuel tankers around Perth since early May. Refuelling Trains, Ships - Bunkers, Barges and Service
Stations and all other in and above ground tanks. Working shift work and also doing up to 80 hours per
week over the past 8 weeks. All is well now so really looking forward to continuing with my career in the
Construction Industry.
HOLIDAY - TIME OFF 3/2013 TO 12/2014
• After taking a bit of a holiday for about six months to visit family and friends I ended up becoming unwell
and was not able to work for about 12 months, then between July and December 2014 just did some casual
driving work to get back on my feet.

CIVIL SUPERVISOR - CURTIS ISLAND APLNG PROJECT
• Supervising construction of gas plant on Curtis Island, duties included but not limited too, safety
supervision of work place, supervision of earthworks and all aspects of concrete construction, assist with
some quality assurance and ensure that all works are done in accordance with construction drawings and
all relevant specifications, all the time reporting to the superintendent and monitoring against the schedule
to keep job running on time.

CIVIL SUPERVISOR - BARROW ISLAND GORGON PROJECT
• Was contacted by Leighton’s and told that they needed a supervisor quickly to go to Barrow Island so I did
the medical and signed all the paperwork etc., then after about a month was told that the position was on
hold. So I waited and then after 3.5 months I contacted Leighton’s and after a total of 4 months was told
that there was no work.
