The air pollution that we cannot see poses a bigger risk to our future than the air pollution we can see. When gases like carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) are released into the atmosphere they change the way the sun's energy is absorbed into our climate system, and we now know that this is changing the way the climate system works. The potential for a catastrophic rise in global temperature is going to have consequences that are difficult to imagine.

The RISK associated with climate
change is bigger than anything
we have faced in all of history ...
MULTI DIMENSION IMPACT ACCOUNTING
43. SOME THOUGHTS (2 of 4) …
It is STUPID to ignore this RISK
and very SMART to think about
ways to reduce the risk and at
the same time build a better
world …
MULTI DIMENSION IMPACT ACCOUNTING
44. SOME THOUGHTS (3 of 4) …
Part of the solution is going to be
deployment of new technologies
that have been researched
already … using our brains to the

MULTI DIMENSION IMPACT ACCOUNTING
45. SOME THOUGHTS (4 of 4) …
Part of the solution is going to
innovation in FINANCE and in
BETTER METRICS so that really
good decisions can be made
about the allocation of human
and financial resources to this
challenge.
