targets for delivery, performance and budget.
Responsibility & Achievements:
• Awarded the APM Programme of the Year Award 2009
• Led a team of 15 project managers in the successful delivery of all programme related projects.
• Responsible for providing support to 15 business change managers for the successful implementation of phase
two of the modernisation programme: To transfer and embed selected business contacts, equipment and
operations from closing sites to retained sites ( .c. £30m income ).
• Directed external consultancy support to establish an active corporate PMO. Including staffing, training and
implementation of a programme & project management methodology and principals (PRINCE2 and MSP ).
• Established and developed a Remploy “project management community” of approx, 130 people.
• Directly responsible for the implementation of changes to close Community Enterprise business operation,
without any adverse impact on Remploy.

operate, within the local community & other organisations to enhance employment opportunities for disabled people.
Full P&L Accountability for all sites, responsible for sales, marketing, general management and all operational matters.

• Responsible for delivery of a range of local projects to deliver alternative business solutions into the local
Remploy sites and the creation of the Remploy Fork Lift Truck, training business.
Remploy Ltd ~ Position: Regional Manager – (Scotland & North England). December 1998 to October 2003
Appointed as Regional Manager for Scotland & The North of England (Site Business Operations) with full P&L
accountability for 12 manufacturing sites in addition to operational support responsibility for a further 10 sites.
Accountability for all regional activity, sales, marketing, PR, general management and all operational matters.

• Responsible for the development and delivery of a regional business strategy.
• Developed the first Remploy Call Centre business activity and Remploy CCTV Business Operation.

disabled people. Responsible for delivery of numerous sub-contract manufacture new product introduction projects.
Responsibility & Achievements:
• Planned and managed the successfully delivered the Edinburgh factory refurbishment project.
• Delivered “Change of Trade” Transfer of business from simple contract packing to Electronics, PCB
Manufacture, Sub-assembly & product manufacturing.
• Secured new business within new market sector and established new customer base for the site.
• Liaised with local Job Centres on recruitment and the development & progression of disabled people.

Accountable for all aspects of factory operations and delivery of a change programme to stabilise, and then increase
production efficiency for: TV satellite systems & Installation, Electronic score boards & Game timing equipment
