1. In the Buzau Sub-Carpathians, on the western slope of Breazau [1], located on the left of the Slănic
valley, at NNE, in the commune of Terca (Lopătari commune) in Buzău County, at an altitude of
approximately 1030 m.

You can see flames that have burst into the ground, rising in the wind, sometimes higher, sometimes just
flickering - largely depending on the pressure of domestic gas and weather: and may be temporarily
extinguished.
From where you can get to the maximum with a small car, it first goes along the water line to a straight
deck, the road beyond which it is impossible to do later. From here you have to cross the left bank of
Mount Slanic to climb the hill.
The surface of the fires is quite small and can easily be missed, the route being unmatched. The road
takes about 30-35 minutes, but it can take up to 45-55 minutes.
The origin of the name.
This is because the flames burn almost continuously, being sometimes visible from afar, especially at
night and sometimes when the leaves of the tribes are low
