Course Overview
Draws on Global & Regional Basin Examples
Across all basin types, a number of regional and international examples will be presented
along with practical exercises a small number will be carried out in stages through the week –
these will involve a ‘play-based exploration’ approach to one or more provinces that are
relevant to the course.
Major Evaluation Project at the End of the Program
Most importantly, there will be a major in-class exercise which will bring attendees to
evaluate a major basin, complete with the required data types, to assess its potential for
development.
