1. Reference: Petronella Tyson
I have known Petronella for approximately 3 years now. In my former role at
Coexist, I worked as the People Development Director. I now chair the Coexist
Board. Petronella began her time (and continues) at Coexist as a freelance Hot-
Desker, initially offering pro-bono expertise to support the space team until
_______ when she was invited to become a Non-Exec community representative
for Coexist.
Coexist continue to privilege from Petronella’s strong commercial and
sustainability background. Her previous work with SSG, her extensive
consultancy work and her marketing experience has led to her being an
excellent project leader and communicator for Coexist. This experience and
knowledge continues to be a huge contribution to the leadership, management
and sustainability of Coexist and the building it powers, Hamilton House. Based
in Stokes, Croft, Bristol, England. Especially at a time when Coexist is moving
through an extensive period of growth. Petronella has brought elegance,
grounding and has provided the networks to hold and support the project with
substance and gravitas.
Petronella has a natural tendency to be interested in the bigger picture and
has been creating a sister project for Coexist, Coexist in the countryside, so on
the one hand supporting a young and growing organisation to develop robust
infra-structures but with the other eye focussed on the strategic, marketing
and project management thinking required to support expansion and growth, in
devotion of Coexists achieving it’s full potential.
Within her role as Coexist’s director, Petronella’s clear and accountable way of
working has allowed the board to develop its leadership perspective and
empower the non executive board members to take more ownership of decision
making, enhancing the weight and integrity of the board and its relationship to
the team and also moving the leadership into a more contemporary and open
platform.
She is an incredibly organised individual with high standards for every piece of
work she does, whilst asserting what needs to be said graciously and
effectively. Petronella has a knack of making sure everyone stays true and
aligned to the core purpose and ethos of our work and organisation. She is
incredibly reliable and has a highly developed sense of responsibility and duty
to her work and to the people she works with and for.
I highly recommend her as a person, director and all round project leader.She
