The LN2 Distribution System at Arizona State University automatically dispenses liquid nitrogen (LN2) through controlled cryogenic valves. It restricts access to authorized customers, monitors system status, provides customers real-time information, and records dispensed LN2 volumes in an Access database for billing reports. The system utilizes an Electronics Control Module interfacing with components like valves, sensors and a barcode reader, controlled by a control application on a local computer. Physical components include a fill stand, card reader, display, and plumbing manifold. The LN2Control software autonomously controls dispensing while monitoring safety and recording all activity.
