Initially responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting for the Southeast Region of
CDK Global. The organization sells hardware, software and related support to
Automotive Dealerships. Accomplishments include the following:
 Received Region of the Year award 3 years in a row. This was based on metrics
such as plan achievement, year over year growth in revenue and NOI, lowest
accounts receivable percentage over 60 days, etc.
 Managed finance and accounting function in a period where revenue growth
averaged 15% per year.
 Assumed responsibility for the Business Development Center. This group was
instrumental in achieving the revenue growth mentioned above.
 Assumed responsibility for the Contract Administration function.
 In addition to the Southeast Region I also assumed responsibility for National
Accounts.

Finance & Accounting. This involved managing a staff of 10 and reporting directly to

Began my career with UPS Truck Leasing when it was a start-up operation. It grew
to a profitable company with $200M in revenue, operating in 20 states with 55
operating locations and 750 employees. Following are some examples of my specific
contributions that enabled this growth:
 Initially responsible for converting from a manual accounting system to a
legacy system.
 Project leader in upgrading from a legacy system to Oracle financials.
 Upgraded from a simple P&L forecasting to a model that included a full set of
financials including balance sheet and cash flow projections. This enabled the
forecasting of key financial measures such as EVA, cash flow and ROIC.
 Simplified the closing process. Complete financials previously available at
mid-month were finalized on the second working day.
 Relocated the finance and accounting function from the previous UPS Truck
Leasing headquarters in Greenwich, CT to Atlanta, GA.
