To Whom it mav Concern:
This is to state that Philip John Stokes Dob. 22101187 has been working with me at the Gladstone
LNG project as a Master C1.4. for almost 3 years now. During his time with me he has worked at
the Gladstone dredging project doing "anchor handling",'towage", "pipeline" and "sinker line"
works. He has also carried out other work and duties, as expected, as a Master on a 35 meter
Multi-Cat. Philip has also worked with me on another contract in Gladstone on the early LNG
project.
During all his time spent with me it has been a pleasure watching him develop into a very
professional operator whose skills are often well advanced to some of those other more
experienced senior Masters working with me. Phillips ship handling is beyond reproach and he
shares those skills he excels in, quite happily and modestly with all those he works with.
He is well versed in handling all crews, even those who are well senior. I shall be very sorry to
lose such an excellent Master at the end of this contract and will be happy to back this reference
up verbally with anyone. He is an asset to any team.
