- FTI is an in-house localization team that translates documents into 22+ languages and receives about 2,000 translation orders per year from over 50 global requestors.
- FTI's only location is in Poland with a staff of 5 people, so they rely heavily on automation through a translation management system (TMS) and workflows to process high volume translation requests.
- FTI has developed over 20 automated workflows in their TMS to handle various translation request types and formats, assigning work to preferred vendors based on language and content while tracking costs and deadlines.

3. • We are an in-house localization team and our requestors know who their vendors are
• Direct communication is not a problem as long as work is done through and tracked in our TMS
• We have a list of vendor preferences per language or content type, and use Plunet properties to manage job to
vendor assignments
• Our vendors have fixed pricelists for us and we work on an honor understanding that if the automatically
calculated PO is incorrect, we will retroactively amend it
• We use combinations of TMS jobs and proprietary scripts through ApplicationManager to accommodate special
file formats or workflows
