Internet use has become so vital to everyday workflow worldwide,
including in Indonesia.
A common refrain is that Internet access is expensive in Indonesia, or at
least such is the perception of Indonesian Internet consumers.
This survey seeks to map out Indonesian consumers’ perceptions &
preferences towards their Internet access consumption.
Survey conducted by DailySocial.id in cooperation with JakPat, surveying
1066 respondents selected randomly from the population of Indonesia’s
smartphone users
5. Monthly Internet Expenditure
For mobile Internet access, most respondents (56.58%) spend
between Rp50.000 to Rp100.000 per month.
For home Internet access, most respondents (53.44%) spend
less than Rp100.000 per month
This shows that most Indonesian internet consumers have gone
mobile first in their Internet consumption.
