The Egyptians used hieroglyphics and various patterns to decorate the pharaohs’ coffins. You will
use pattern and symbols that represent things that are important in your life to make a sarcophagus
lid that that resembles those of the ancient Egyptians.

2. Then, choose at least 10 symbols or ideograms to decorate your sarcophagus lid that
symbolize things that are important to you, represent your personality, or illustrate your
