Bernhard Mann is a professor emeritus of health and social management with experience in academia, museums, and public health. He was born in Stuttgart, Germany and received excellent education, earning master's degrees in sociology and public health and a PhD in social gerontology. Over his career, he has held positions as a full professor for 35 years and adjunct professor for 25 years at multiple universities. He has extensive international experience through research, teaching, and fellowships in many countries around the world. Currently, he works as a museum professional at the Willy-Brandt-Museum and holds a public health mandate at the University of Tuebingen's Institute of Social Medicine.
