The Toy & related Research Institute (AIJU) is a non-profit organization located in Ibi. Its aim is to transfer and allow toy manufacturers the access to the knowledge of new technologies in order to improve their competitivity, while offering technological and financial assessment and supporting the professional development of people involved in the sector.
AIJU is an active member of the committees that set the standards for child products (child care articles, toys, playgrounds). In the field of child care, AIJU belongs to the Spanish Technical Committee AEN/CTN 172/SC2 Child care, and the European Committee for Standardization CEN/TC 252 “Child use and care articles”.
