Параллельно с развитием ИТ индустрии, профессия тестировщика еволюционувала очень сильно - от "monkey testing" обязанностей, для уменьшения нагрузки на разработчиков, к профессии способной зарабатывать больше чем эти же разработчики. Обеспечения качества в сегодняшние дни, это не просто провести регрессию и, даже, не автоматизировать ее. Это улучшение всех этапов разработки продукта, и тестировщики нового поколения действительно способны это сделать. Мы обсудим этот путь эволюции, рассмотрим все их составляющие и причины. Я расскажу, как можно строить культуру QA в организации и развивать тестировщиков 3.0.

QGIS is the most popular and used Geographical Free Open Source software in the whole world, growing fast and being a serious competitor to the near monopolistic proprietary alternative. QGIS is born in 2002 thanks to Gary Sherman that was looking for a simple way to visualize geospatial data stored in a PostgreSQL/PostGIS database. In the following years more people got involved in the project and QGIS stared to become a complete GIS software with support for both vector and raster data. During these 18 years more and more people developed specialized geospatial algorithm to extract information from the data and to provide a simple interface for the end user. Different milestones have been reached, e.g. the support for thirdly part software, like GRASS, SAGA, Orfeo Toolbox and R; a Python interface has been added so that it is easy to develop new spatial algorithms as *plugins*. Thanks to these features QGIS quickly became popular and widespread. Public administration, private companies, Universities and GIS expert use QGIS and are investing resources back to the project. The success of QGIS is due not only to work of developers and the resulting powerful and easy functions, but also to the strong community behind the software: document writers, translators participate not only *building* QGIS as a software but by growing QGIS as a **community**.

This slideshow I presented was base on my paper "QGIS as an alternative to proprietary GIS" which also won the Grand Prize Award aka MAMPU Open Source Award 2009 (Public Sector) at the MYGOSSON 2009, Putrajaya. Together, they were the founding material I used to expose and introduce to the National Open Source Software Interest Group, the general audience from both the Public and Private Sector as well the general public about a little known but powerful GIS software known as Quantum GIS (QGIS). The rest is history.

After building, deploying and scaling a dozen on products with the Django + GraphQL + SPA (React) setup, we have come to understand what works and what does not. In this talk, I will share our findings on how to do the same. I will be using a simplified StackOverflow clone for demonstration. First, I will introduce Python-Graphene (and few other related libraries), the library that is used to build GraphQL endpoints. Then the talk will focus on how to structure your Django GraphQL project. Share the toolchain (a few management command scripts) that are handy to export your constants & GraphQL schemas to be used with your SPA. Integrating with an SPA (React for demo purpose) Auth, API calls. Then I will talk about how you go about deploying your API using 2 different strategies: 1. Docker compose / swarm (Vendor independent, non-production workloads) 2. AWS Fargate (Vendor dependant, production workloads, serverless containers) And a cost-effective and highly scale-able deployment strategy for your SPA (using AWS S3, CloudFront and ACM).
