My name is Roger Day. I specialize in imaginative copywriting and corporate storytelling for technology and telecom customers. A brief bio. I used to work in marketing on the client side for Ericsson and ITT ... but I've been a freelancer for 25+ years. I've got lots of experience handling marketing communications for major corporates through to startups. I'm English, but speak (and spell) fluent American for international marketing projects. I live near Cannes, France, and have customers in the US, UK and EU. I like to engage people with storytelling ... but I'm very focused on there being a point to my copy. If people are going to invest a little time in reading something, they want a clear benefit or outcome. I'm also very experienced in digital and non-digital copy projects, including 'old fashioned' items like brochures and direct mail. I really enjoy doing landing pages and long copy pages, often in conjunction with PPC campaigns on Google or Facebook. But the biggest kick is helping companies to get their message understood. Quite often when I start working with a company they aren't clearly articulating the features and benefits of the incredible goods and services they have created. It's very exciting to help companies go 'the last mile' and really connect with their community of potential customers and stakeholders.
