TEACHER’S REPORT
BRITISH COUNCIL- ISA PROJECT (ENDANGERED SPECIES)
ACTIVITY – BROCHURE MAKING
The aim of this activity was to create awareness about the Endangered
speciesand the significantimpacts humans, diseases and the environment
have on the habitats and lifestyle of these species.
Working in teams of 4-5, students will get a platform towards developing
their task. Each of the learning experiences leading to the rich task will
support students as learners and will be effective and useful for their task.
Studentswill relatethis informationand show their understanding though
producing a factssheet on their animal and an informative and persuasive
brochure. Students will be able to develop understanding:
 of why animalsbecomeendangered
 of why the chosen animalis endangered
 of what it meant to be extinct
 of how to createawarenesscampaignstopromote
endangered species
 of how to effectively communicatea messagetoan audience
 of how to use promotionalmaterialstoconvey a message
 of what it means to be endangered
