5. FREE TRAINING EXPLAINED
1. The aim of free training is to orient trainees to their future responsibilities as
part of outreach services team and help them take a decision whether they
would like to join team Ashray or not at the end of training.
2. Trainees are free to leave training anytime if they do not wish to join team
Ashray.
3. Successful completion of training is a must to be absorbed in as an intern in
Ashray Outreach Services Team. Also, if , during the course of training, the
Chief Trainer doesn't find any trainee suitable for the future responsibilities, the
trainee will be counselled to discontinue.
4. No certificate of merit or of participation will be provided for this free training.
5. Trainees will be provided Letter of Intent during free training, to help them
obtain their respective Police Clearance Certificates (PCC). Following end of
free training, PCC application acknowledgement slip is a must to start
internship. Main copy of PCC, in original, has to be submitted within 30 working
days of start of internship at Ashray Outreach Services.
15 days of training will be conducted on working days in Ashray Outreach Services Unit of
Ashray Medical Centre in Kirti Nagar. NO LEAVES ARE ALLOWED DURING TRAINING PERIOD

7. COMPULSORY INTAKE CONDITIONS
1. Must be healthy, between 18 – 50 years of age
2. Must be able to produce POLICE CLEARANCE
CERTIFICATE
(from Delhi Police for Delhi residents or from the local police-
station of native place, if from outside Delhi), I.D. and
residence proofs
3. Must be willing to deliver non-medical care at communities and at
patients' homes.
4. Must have no substance abuse habits
5. Must be ready to work in day, night shifts
6. Must be prepared for upto 15 hours of work-related engagement,
including travelling time between place of duty and personal
residence (our work duration is inversely proportional to travelling
time, i.e., the more time it takes to reach community or patient’s
place for duty, lesser the working hours).
7. Must be open to weekly offs on days other than holidays and
sundays
8. If not on non-medical care assignment in community or at a
patient's home, duty is at Ashray Medical Centre in Kirti Nagar.
