Quality
Only the Best Materials
From the quality hardwood to the galvanised, maintenance-free steelwork, Monarch® stables are designed to
last. The raw materials supplied to Monarch® undergo rigorous inspection before they are passed on to our
manufacturing units.
Following extensive research, Monarch® has selected an especially close grain of plantation grown hardwood.
The quality is extremely high, providing exceptional strength and durability that can withstand the most
strenuous punishment. The timber is air-dried to prevent distortion and minimise shrinkage. The timbers’ finish
planed thickness of 33-35mm is a tough, yet safe choice for horses that are capable of kicking through boards.
The timber is an attractive rich colour, which is finished off with an exclusively formulated ‘Regent Oil Wax’ for a
final touch of class.
Compacted Bamboo boards provide an alternative to traditional hardwoods. Meeting all of the specifications
required to complement our high quality stabling, it provides an extremely durable option that is more flexible
then some hardwoods yet denser and stronger and not prone to shrinkage. The thermal treatment it undergoes
in manufacture makes it very resistant to external influences.
Produced from sustainable forests, the Bamboo is actually a very fast growing grass. It is ready for selective
harvesting in between 5-7 years. It will then produce more shoots for regrowth, unlike trees with have to be
replanted. Bamboo is fast becoming the material of choice in many applications where strength, style and the
environment are important.
All of Monarch®’s fabricated steelwork is hot dip galvanised after manufacture to British Standard EN1461:1999.
The long lasting zinc coating for both visible and concealed parts makes the steelwork maintenance-free. Even
the stainless steel fixing bolts are of the same high quality.
Monarch® stables can withstand pressure washing and steam cleaning.

Features
Monarch®
has incorporated many safety features
within our stable designs. Our innovations
include a special patented system used to join the
partitions together which eliminates unnecessary
protrusions that could potentially cause injury to
horse or handler.
Versatility and
Choice
Our range of options enables us to be truly
versatile in ours designs. Customers can choose
from a range of stable doors styles and partitions
such as sliding or hinged, full or half timbers.
Sliding doors and partitions are a popular choice,
especially where space is more confined or where
access is required for machinery.

Timber
Alternative
A low maintenance option as an alternative to timber
is also now available, in the form of recycled plastic
boards. These boards are a similar thickness to the
timber normally used. They even resemble wood in
appearance and are equally as strong.
The difference? Plastic will require less maintenance
and is less affected by shrinkage. Plastic boards
still provide a safe strong impact resistant material
which is durable and environmentally friendly, being
manufactured from high grade recycled plastic and
in turn being 100% recyclable.

’s Majestic range provides the ultimate
in stabling. Made only from the finest materials,
this choice of exclusive bespoke designs, can be
tailored to suit individual requirements.
Majestics combine the style and sophistication
of a bygone era, with modern design features for
convenience and safety.
The Victorian style uses round posts genuine
brass finials and caps. The unique brass self-
closing door fittings complement the other
features to give an authentic period design.
Similarly, the Elizabethan and Regency designs
utilise the same materials and fittings, yet differ
slightly in style to fit the style of each era. The
Elizabethan style incorporates higher, subtly
arched grilles, whilst the Regency style contracts
with a straight edged finish to the framework.
Elements of each design can be combined for a
more individual look. The galvanised framework
can also be powder coated in a variety of colours.
The hardwood is of exceptional quality providing
superior strength and durability. The timber is
finished with Monarch®
’s specially formulated
‘Regent Oil Wax’ for a rich natural colour tone.

Exterior Doors

Whether converting an existing building or constructing a
new one, Monarch®
’s selection of exterior doors provides
the ideal solution for a robust entrance to stables and
barns.
Monarch®
’s range of exterior stable doors is suitable for
brick, block of timber buildings. All doors come complete
with angle frame and are built to a standard size. There is
also a made-to-measure option for existing opening sizes.
Top and bottom stable doors are made from a galvanised
steel framework in-filled with hardwood timber of the
same superior quality to that used in our internal stables
Doors can be fitted with a galvanised sheet on the inside
if required for extra protection.
Top doors can be fitted in the exterior walls of buildings,
such as American Barns for extra ventilation and interest
for stabled horses. These doors come in a variety of styles
including louvre blades for extra versatility. Full timber
doors can also be provided for feed and tack rooms, all of
which are lockable for extra security.

Stage 2
Using the latest CAD systems, our skilled design and planning
team will produce an accurate and detailed drawing. This service
is free of charge. The drawing is submitted for your approval
together with a quotation.

Stage 3
Once the design proposal has been approved and manufacture

Monarch®
Barn
The Monarch® Barn is one of the more
recent innovations to be introduced
into our range. It is light, airy and
extremely versatile.
A new concept in stabling design the Monarch®
Barn is a
low-maintenance modular construction which provides
customers with numerous flexible design options.
Available in a choice of exterior cladding with a
galvanised steel framework, the Monarch®
Barn features
an ultra-strong translucent roof. This allows maximum
light into the building, yet filters harmful rays. The roof
helps the building stay cool in the summer and provides
warmth in the winter.
The modular design of the Monarch®
Barn allows
buildings to be constructed in units of four upwards.
This means that it can be extended with ease at a later
date by adding further modules to the building.
Good ventilation is essential for healthy stabled horses.
Our designers have also paid close attention to the roof
pitch which allows no fewer than 25 changes of air per
hour. Large double doors at either end of the Barn,
as well as the additional option of exterior top door
windows, further increase the flow or air.

exercisers incorporate many advanced design features, specifically developed for quality and safety.
We design and manufacture our own horse exercisers from 36’-66’ with optional roofs to fit all sizes.

Equine Equipment
Paddock Pens & Lunge Pens
These are just so simple, yet so useful! Our versatile portable horse pens have an infinite number of uses. Paddock
Pens provide a safe controlled area for foals or injured horses and can be an effective way of restricting grazing.
Lunge pens with rubber lining for extra protection provide a permanent enclosed area for lungeing and
schooling horses.
The size of a pen can be altered by simply adding or removing panels.
HandlingStocks&Solaria
Monarch®’s range of stocks and solaria are now
widely used by many yards, veterinary practices
and studs.
The sides are adjustable to provide easy access
from all directions. They are also rubber padded for
additional protection.
The solarium is a great asset to any yard providing
speedy drying of wet horses, improving muscle
