New Zealand Loan Origination (NZLO) system is developed as an end to end lending solution
that standardizes and simplifies the lending process to enable WNZL lending professionals to
provide excellent customer service. The application covers the Loan Origination process from
the Customer Contact stage till the disbursement of funds to the Final Settlements of the
funds into customer’s account(s).

I have been involved into a development of a new Process to set Delivery Address of credit
card if the customer resides outside New Zealand. Prior to our code development, the bank is
actually wasting a lot of the time to update the delivery address through host call. These host
calls includes web services calls as well as MQ calls thus consuming time to generate the
Response. So we have shared a valuable Value add to the process to cut the process time by
almost 1/4th
of the original time. This has a huge impact on the credit card process in the
banking system and the efficiency as the number of application processed by the bank has
increased remarkably.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 I achieved working experience of Designing a new UI page Which takes various
address information from the user and storing the details through the Hibernate created
Table. It involves various validations on the text entered by the user through JavaScript
as well as Form-validation through Struts Framework.
 A new action class as well as a new action mapping has been created to accomplish
the requirements.

finally deployment using Putty and Winscp tool into Server.

I have developed a new Rate Lock Acknowledgement process to feature Home Loan product
to lock the interest rate for a certain period of time if the customer has agreed to pay the fixed
type of interest rate for the availed Home Loan product. This feature benefits the customer to
save some sorts of amount through reduced interest rates. This requirement involves
incorporate the change new method to the daily batch process in order to make an effective
payment with new RLA accepted rate.

We have developed a new screen which got embedded inside existing screen using Tiles features Struts
tags which contains the transition behavior in the screen on the selection of options [Radio
Button] by the user. This requirement involves creation of a new disclosure document i.e. Card
Repayment Cover to the Credit Card customers before disbursing the amount to the customer
accounts. The Documents creation involves the use of Adobe Accelio Output Designer tool to
design the blueprint to be used by JaxB blob objects to create the Loan documents.

This project was pushed as a result of RBNZ which acts a regulatory for all the banks in New
Zealand. The main motto of the project was to capture the Loan Purpose as well as Security
Purpose for Home Loan. This is for making the land cost or Property Value in control for the
Residents to Auckland Region. Based on the entered Loan Purposes/ Security Purpose the
bank is going to obtain the credit score and provide the various set of interest values to the
customer.
