Education to ensure that it is implemented in letter and spirit.

improving quality of the educational institutions throughout
the country, including in the regions where people do not have
easy access to education.

• India as the largest democracy in the world,
exercises the provisions of the Constitution and the
principles of democratic decentralization for the
educational management in the country.
• It also respects the ideal educational management of
various international agencies and organisations.
• The decentralized management structure is found
from the national level to the grass root level.
• Different educational management bodies at
National, State, District, Block, Cluster, Village and
School level coordinate and cooperate with each
other for smooth educational management in India
as a whole.

  • 12. MAJOR ROLE & FUNCTIONS OF MHRD (Renamed as MoE) • Hon'ble Union Education Minister: Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. • Hon’ble Minister of State for Education: Shri Sanjay Dhotre. Major Role & Functions: Formulating the National Policy on Education to ensure that it is implemented in letter and spirit. and Annual Work Plan & Budget (AWP&B) Resource Support for Planned Development, including expanding access and improving quality of the educational institutions throughout the country, including in the regions where people do not have easy access to education.

Conclusion • India as the largest democracy in the world, exercises the provisions of the Constitution and the principles of democratic decentralization for the educational management in the country. • It also respects the ideal educational management of various international agencies and organisations. • The decentralized management structure is found from the national level to the grass root level. • Different educational management bodies at National, State, District, Block, Cluster, Village and School level coordinate and cooperate with each other for smooth educational management in India as a whole.
