Implemented workflow engine to ascertain better risk exposure – viz commercial vehicle used as Public &
Private / Tonnage-wise / CC wise – loading of premium based on these factors. Managed 77% renewal
retention. Tied-up with IBL, Central Bank of India & CIFCO (NBFC) for Motor Business & personal line /
Serviced Scheduled Bank’s portfolio (consistent growth shown by 20% every year)
Medical:
Tied up with Banks for retail health and Group Medical for Citi Bank Cardholders. 29% growth shown every
year under Group Health. The portfolio was running at 81% loss ratio including pay outs.
CLAIMS
Plugged leakages in Survey & Investigator Fee / focused more on in-house assessors for reduction in claims
outstanding and severity / IBNR / IBNER provisioning / fix rate in coordination with Actuarial Team based on
loss ratio of each channel / more focus given on `compromise settlements’ in motor legal claims and brought
down the outstanding claims severity & reserves (long tail) and maintained the Ultimate Loss Ratio (ULR). High
Value claims review process tightened for proper reserving and follow up for early settlement to avoid litigation
and interest out go.
