2. Clean Word HTML
The clean Word button removes some Word
formatting from your pasted text so that the
page is smaller, less complex and thus loads
faster. The Microsoft Office HTML Filter 2.0
removes all Word code from HTML file far
more effectively for Office 2000. This filter is
already built into office in Microsoft Office
XP onwards.
3. Enlarge Editor
Some Moodle applications need space depending
on the amount of material added. This allows a
larger pop-up widow, making it easier to see all of
the content.
4. Toggle HTML Source
The button changes the display window to raw HTML code.
This can be useful for those of you that know how to use it
(or want to learn!). Most of the buttons do not work in this
view, including many of the hotkeys. This is where you
would embed your own (or found) HTML code.
5. Search and Replace
Search for a specific word or phrase in
your text and replace all occurrences of
that word or phrase with your choice.
9. Insert Image
A pop-up window will display your files stored on
your Moodle course and allow you to upload
images into your files database to be used for that
desired application. Notice you can use an image
URL. (Alternate text for image is required)
10. Insert web link, remove
link, prevent automatically
linking
Not only can you insert or remove a hyperlink, but
you can prevent auto-linking to text that would
normally create its own link – i.e. mywebsite.com
