The Speech Sound Pics Approach (SSP_) and RTI

1. SSP is being developed by
The Reading Whisperer
for Early Years Educators and Parents
of 3-8 yrs olds as an approach that
reduces the need for RTI as it prevents
difficulties in the first place.
If SSP is not used in Prep, Year 1 and 2
it can be used with older students,
following the RTI model.
The foundation for phonemic awareness and
phonics training using SSP is FUN !
