Real-time Rugby Tutorial
1. Welcome to Real-time Rugby!
Real-time Rugby will enable you to share all your rugby
experiences in Real-time, so you can Maximize Your Rugby.
2. Real-time Rugby Registration
• It is critical to register properly.
• If you are going to be reporting
the scores of rugby matches as
an “Official” or for your team as
a “team admin”, you have a
greater responsibility than other
users. Everyone across the globe
will be relying on you to
accurately report the scoring
events in a timely manner.
Therefore, you must have special
permissions from our wizard to
do so.
3. • If you are an official “Real-
time reporter,” you must
select “Official.” This will
generate an e-mail to our
Real-time wizard, who will
allow you access to the
official’s icon. The icon will
then magically appear on your
home screen.
• Later on, you can go back
and change your designation
to player, coach or fan, but
that will not affect your status
as an official.
4. Create Your Real-time Rugby Profile
• Enter your information in
the “About” tab.
• You can change or hide
your email and/or
password here if you want
to (if you are sketchy).
•Choose whether you want
to use your “rugby
nickname” or legal name as
your screen name (other
Real-time Rugby users will
know you by your screen
name).
5. “Follow” Your Favorite Teams
in Real-time
• Your teams’ scores will be published
on your scrolling scoreboard on your
home and profile pages in Real-time.
• Your teams’ scores will be listed in the
“Followed Matches” list so that they
are easy to find.
• You will be listed as a “member” on
those teams’ pages.
• You will receive alerts for changes in
the date, time and venue right up until
kickoff.
1. In the “About” tab - pick your 3
favorite teams.
6. 1. After you have picked your
team and hit “select”, if
that team does not already
have a team admin, you
will be prompted to
request permission from
the wizard to be that
team’s admin.
2. If permission is granted by
the wizard, then the “team
admin” icon will magically
appear on the lower left
corner of your Real-time
Rugby home screen.
“Team Admin” Icon
7. 3. Choosing your team
will create a pop-up
prompting you to

your team’s match in
Real-time
• Edit your team’s
page
4. You can now report
the scores of any
home match on your
team schedule or add
a home match (See
“Officials” icon for help
scoring).
8. The team admin can also edit:
• The schedule
• Team info
• Logo
• Directions
• Assign admin rights to
another team member if
you want to.
9. 2. In the “My Scoreboard” tab,
you can always follow more
teams if you want to.
3. After you find a team you
want to add to your scoreboard,
press “add team”, and “save
teams” will finish the job.
10. •Press the magnifying glass on
the top right corner of the profile
page to find others out there you
want to check out.
•To navigate any text box in the
app, simply press your finger
down until the magnifying tool
appears and slide you finger (see
pic on the left).
Engaging and Sharing with others
in Real-time
11. • You can post comments*,

on their profile pages.
• The videos must be 10
seconds or less, anything
longer will not load.
