1. How to Guide
1. Check & follow the schedule for types of social media posts for the
week.
2. Check post ideas for any grammatically errors.
3. Have someone else double check for grammatical errors.
4. Submit the post idea to Alaina for approval. Do not post ANYTHING
without approval.
5. Opinions are acceptable as long as it lines up with Risha’s vision of
diversity & inclusion. Make sure you get approval!
6. Check to make sure posts are focused around discussions and will
produce conversations.
Procedure Guide for Social Media
Weekly
1. Check and retrieve analytics from the following sites EVERY
Thursday:
Twitter
Instagram
LinkedIn
2. Fill out the data for each web page on the ‘Analytics Tracking’
Excel page
3. Create Hootsuite schedule every 2 weeks (sent in 3 days prior to
deadline for approval)
4. Every other Thursday find 2 weeks worth of post ideas/ pictures/
videos based off of the social media outline.
5. Send schedule in to Alaina for approval.
Monthly
1. At the end of every month but before the first Monday staff
meeting of the next month, remind Alaina to send monthly analytics
for:
FaceBook
DCX
Google
Newsletters
**Update the Analytics Tracking Sheet with the info provided.
2. Update monthlygraphs and newsletter on the last Thursday each
month.
3. Print updated dashboard on Thursday before leaving the office, and
have analytics prepared for the first staff meeting of the month.
Yearly
1. Save copy of the analytics sheet for the previous year on the first
day of the new-year (Ex: Analytics Tracking 2014).
2. Create a new sheet for the year using the template in drop box.
