Redbeam studio, founded in May 2011 by Ms. Swati Sharma is an integrated Architecture and Interior design consultancy based out of
Mumbai. Our studio provides full scope of services, architecture, interior design, furnishings, site planning, landscape design and complete
turnkey solutions.

Profile
Redbeam studio started out as a dream by Ms. Swati Sharma, an Architecture and Interior design specialist
based out of Mumbai, India. Before starting her own creative studio a period of constant exploration followed as
Swati worked with Architect Reza Kabul and later with Oberoi Realty. At Reza Kabul she was leading the design
team for Bharat Diamond Bourse and designed various projects like Hotels, Residences, Commercial,
Institutions, mixed use etc. At Oberoi she has designed and executed the Oberoi Splendor Clubhouse along with
other commercial projects.
With over 14 years of experience in designing projects of all scales, Swati has created various spaces in both
architectural and Interior segments. Her diverse experience, free spirited creativity and modern sensibility is key
to the force behind Redbeam Studio. Driven by her passion, Swati redefines honest Architecture through a
process of understanding practical client requirement, extensive research, re-invention and storytelling.
A budding artist and an avid traveler, loves to create her own master - pieces on canvas & walls when she isn’t
designing dreams for clients.

Description :Designed for a young finance entrepreneur who required an open space where he can work, entertain and enjoy
his solitude with his books and music.With this theme in mind this office was designed to have a look and feel of a
living room ...
The furniture concepts are in tones of white and dark grey ,only dash of color being the bright vibrant work
table that adorns the almost centre of the working zone. Client requirement was a single large work table instead of
having multiple work stations. The red table also becomes the focal for the entire office.
Brick cladding on the only continuous wall maintains the connection from the entrance till the end. A small
conference is planned with clear glass partitions to give a visual connect in the office and still maintain the overall
depth resulting in no barrier spaces.
Interesting levels are created with wooden flooring and the same streak follows on the ceiling above the work zone.
With black painted exposed ceiling and hanging lights the illusion of space is shaped. Back of house services
like the pantry, store and rest room are tucked in at the entrance with a visual barrier of hollow steel bars...
The overall theme provides a flexible setup that fully reflects the way the team can collaborate, allowing informal
congregation and mobility.
The design is innovative and contemporary such as the essence of the young entrepreneur.

Project status : Conceptual stage
Description :Designing for a young couple a contemporary house which reflects the urban personalities of a Banker and a
Doctor. Breaking away from a typical layout the dining table shifts to be placed besides the window in front of a bar
cum open ibrary. A space created in the living room specially for conversation with family and friends.
The central wall of the ‘L’ shape living room is cladded in mirror from floor to ceiling giving an illusion of a much
bigger living room. Mirrored shapes will always make the living room an interesting reflection.
The TV unit turns around the wall forming a bench for the dining table. Soft hues of beige white and brown adorned
with leather sofa complete the setting of a cozy space for two. The entire house follows the theme with large
flowing spaces and room for converting a house into a home.

simple yet elegant looking home. The style a mix of classic and modernistic yet personalized.

Description :This is an affordable housing project by VBHC in Vasind, Shahpur where Red Beam was entrusted upon doing up
the complete Interiors and furnishing of the 2 sample flats (1BHK and 2BHK Module).
This was a refurbish project as the sample flats was already done and they wanted to change the overall impression
giving the residence a stylish and modern look. The entire furniture, curtains and accessories were redone. With a
limited budget and restrictions on changing existing electrical points, door & window finishes Red Beam gave both
the flats a superior finish, aesthetic look and feel.

Redbeam studio: noun (ref.to colour, light and artist’s workspace)
red - is the epitome of colour which symbolizes power, action, confidence, courage, and change.
Red is the color with the longest wavelength, being the nearest visible light to infrared in the electromagnetic spectrum.
beam - a narrow, propagating stream of particles or energy
studio - is an artist's workspace. The word studio is derived from the Italian: studio, from Latin: studium, from studere, meaning
to study or zeal.
Energy is created when light waves become color and if it is RED it brings passion and strength to your relationships, your life and your work.
