This document provides instructions for finding a person using the ReferenceUSA database. It outlines the 6 step process: 1) Access ReferenceUSA through a library and select the Consumers/Lifestyles database, 2) Enter available name and location information to view initial results, 3) Use advanced search options like name, phone, or address filters to narrow results if too many are returned, 4) Enter required information in filter search windows and update count to view refined results, 5) View results page to potentially find the targeted person.

person
you

looking

have
all

do

Results
to
see

possible
results

many
results
try
to
narrow
the
results
by
revising
your
search
and
using
the
advanced
search
opHon.

select
one

more
filters
to
narrow
the
search.

good
opHons
when
trying
to
find
an
individual.

not
use
consumer
snapshot
elements
as
you
will
not
be
able
to
see
these
individuals
names
or
their
records.
These
are
sensiHve
date
elements.

search
new
windows
open

center
column.
Enter
the
required
informaHon
in
each
window.
When
complete
select
update
count
to
determine
how
many
results
you
will
have.
When
you
are
saHsfied
with
your
results
press
view
results.
