Learners will play a” Jack En Poy”
version before answering the

choose a representative for each
team.
 It is located at the central
part of the Philippines. It
consists of seven large and
hundred smaller islands.
 Bohol, Cebu, Leyte,
Masbate, Negros, Panay,
and Samar are the seven
main islands found in
Visayas.
 Most of Visayan songs
written in duple or triple
meter with simple melodies.
 Some popular folksongs like
Pakitong-Kitong, Ili-ili Tulog
Anay and Matud Nila are
originated from the region.
The teacher will show some
songs from Visayas.

After listening they will analyze the song by Tempo, Texture, Melody and Timbre. C. Presenting Examples / Instances of the New Lesson Learners will play a” Jack En Poy” version before answering the question given. The students will choose a representative for each team.  It is located at the central part of the Philippines. It consists of seven large and hundred smaller islands.  Bohol, Cebu, Leyte, Masbate, Negros, Panay, and Samar are the seven main islands found in Visayas.  Most of Visayan songs written in duple or triple meter with simple melodies.  Some popular folksongs like Pakitong-Kitong, Ili-ili Tulog Anay and Matud Nila are originated from the region. The teacher will show some songs from Visayas.  Ilo ng Bato  Pinalangga ko  Balitaw  Matud Nila  Kandu  Portino  Dagon The students will analyze what kind of song are the following. The student will create some simple movements by group accompany by the music from the Mindoro, Palawan and Visayas.

Finding Practical Applications of the Concepts And Skills In Daily Living The teacher will ask the student to relate the learned music in their daily living 5 minutes The learner will give their insights about the form of these music from the different Region. The students will share their experiences on how did they feel while performing and practicing. H. Making Generalizations and Abstractions About the Lesson The teacher will ask the following questions:  What are the use or Cordillera, Students will write their experiences about the tour in a sheet of paper and pass it to the teacher.
