 Designed, manufactured and implemented a JT8D gearbox test stand to be used as a
trouble-shooting tool to check the main accessory gearbox by simulating normal
operation; check for leaks and /or deficiencies prior to installing the gearbox assembly

 Designed and implemented procedure to use lapping fixtures to correct the carbon seal
face light band pattern on the starter drive and CSD gear-shaft seal face for the JT8D
engine.
