XU600 and XU800
The most advanced UHF Power Amplifier Solution available on the market,
with Broad-band or Doherty RF section.

RES-Ingenium is once again leading the OEMs Digital Products Market announcing the completion of the
design of the 600/800Wrms solution, equipped with NXP BLF888AS / BLF888BS Power Devices.
The XU600 is a Broadband UHF Power Amplifier, covering the entire Broadcasting Band (470–862MHz)
without the need of any tuning (Frequency True Agile). XU600 is ideal for reserve Power Amplifiers when the
broadband operation is a must.
The XU800 is the high efficiency version of XU600. The unit uses the new and innovative Broad-Band /
Doherty pallet-system solution based on LDU688XLD and using the unique
design, that provides >40% typical RF efficiency on the working channel.

Both versions look exactly the same, and the two Power Amplifier solution pallets are perfectly pin-to-pin compatible.
Looking the unit from the front, the first thing that captures your attention is the large air intake with its big air
filter, easy to remove and substitute in a few seconds.

On the left side the LCD display and five LEDs complete the control panels with the essential status
information: Working, Enable, Warning, Fault and Power Derating. The keyboard makes then possible the
control of the Power Amplifier.
The unit is extremely compact and modular, simple and robust construction, ready for heavy duty use and
easy maintenance, with internal wiring reduced virtually to zero.
The XU600/800 has been designed in cooperation with expert maintenance technicians, used to daily face
field problems. The design of the unit has been done taking into consideration the best MTTR in case of
failure.
The XU600/800 can be used as stand alone Power Amplifier or as part of a bigger transmitter system.
Two XU600 in parallel, for example, can easily make a high performance transmitter capable of >1kWrms
(DVB-T) by using a 2way divider/combiner that RES-Ingenium can supply.
The key feature of XU600/800 is the use of the ultimate Power Pallet from RES-Ingenium, the LDU688XLD
that – with a simple screw driver – can provide the flexibility of the Broad band or the extreme efficiency of
the Doherty circuit.
XU600/800 is provided with build-in adaptive pre-correction that assures the best IMD and MER
performance in any working condition.
