6. The Aunt’s Story
Aunt told story about a little girl who was
Good, and made friends with everyone on account
of her goodness. She was finally saved from a mad
bull by a number of rescuers who admired her
moral character.
7. Then the children asked some other questions
about that story. But she also miserably failed
there. So the aunt cannot control the children.
Now the bachelor made his comment on that, she
is not success as a story teller. The aunt bristled
in instant defence at this unexpected attack. “
Perhaps you would like to tell them a story ”, was
the aunt retort. Then he admitted to tell a story
to the children.
8. The Bachelor’s Story
Bachelor began that, once upon a time
there was a little girl called BERTHA, who
was extraordinarily
Good. She won three medals for her goodness, which she always
wore, pinned on her dress. Everybody talked about her goodness,
and the prince of
the country got to hear about it,
and he said that as she was so
good she might be allowed once a
week to walk in his park.
9. There were lots of kids running over the park. Suddenly an
enormous wolf came prowling into the park to see if it could
catch a fat kid for its supper. Bertha saw the wolf and she hid a
row of Myrtle bushes. The wolf stopped and listened the
clinking sound of the three medals. He dashed in to the bush
and dragged Bertha out and devoured her to the last morsel.
10. The wolf is sniffing
among the myrtle
bushes. Bertha hid
herself in one of the
thickest of the bushes.
11. Thus the bachelor’s story ended. Children liked
his story and way of story telling. He could
easily conquired the hearts of the listeners.
