Professionally Licensed Educator with experience in curriculum innovation, and providing program choice for students within the nation's third-largest school system. Currently employed by a progressive charter school organization, specializing in providing high-quality educational opportunities for scholars in the city of Gary, Indiana. Professional goals include: Creating a literacy program that is culturally relevant and has the potential to re-engage African American males in literacy education; serving as a Campus Leader for the Phalen Leadership Academies Network; and providing training for teachers in the area of Single-Sex Education in Public Schools.
