2. This is some of my work from
previous classes, where I created a
sample pop up shop, sample website
page, and some more mock ups
of furniture that I enjoyed. These
were created with softer colors such
as forest green, tans and grays, as
well as some pastel colors like an
ocean blue and fuchsia color. I like
that these colors give off a relaxed
vibe, and it fits well as furniture
because your living room is where
you relax, so you usually don’t want
anything super bright colored, but
these pieces also have just the right
amount of color and creativity so
that it can add a bit of personality to
your living room.

Here is a technical drawing of a
stool that I did, which I often use
for other furniture where I then
add my own designs or texture
to make it more realistic and also
more fitting to my brand, which
is more of a calm pastel look or
earthy colors.
Here I was an idea I had for a shirt
design for my fraternity. The con-
cept is for our fall recruitment, or
“rush”, and we make new shirts that
all new members get. A popular
design throughout greeklife is using
album covers and editing them to
make them match your fraterni-
ty. Here I used an album cover by
Kanye West, which is called the Life
of Pablo. It is just a rough draft of
the design but was never picked.
Here is a sketch I made on my
drawing pad, of my old room where
all lines go to one point, giving it a
3 dimensional look. The goal was
to eventually try and make this
either a poster or put it on a t shirt
after bringing it into illustrator and
image tracing it. I wanted it to have
a sort of hand drawn look, and not
be quite perfect but I never got
around to editing much more of it.
4. Clothing and footwear
Here is some of my work I did
where I worked on using my own
patterns and creating a pant, as well
as my own patterns and putting
them in to a technical drawing of
a shoe, then using shading and
texture packs on adobe illustrator to
give the shoe a more realistic look.
The pants were originally a
technical drawing, then I used a
realistic photo and added my own
pattern to create a mock up of the
design.
5. Sketches and technical drawings
Here are some sketches from my
sketching and drawing course
shown in the top 2 photos, as well
as the bottom left photo. I also have
a technical drawing in the bottom
right with lines of measurement
shown as well, which I created in
my product development class.
