180 Degrees Consulting is the world’s largest university-based consultancy, with 140+ branches across 35+ countries.
The NIT Trichy branch was started as a tool for students to get exposure to the world of management consulting and
has since come a long way.

8. QUALITY ASSURANCE-I
We recognize the need to maintain a high standard of consulting services. Our student consultants are required to undergo a
rigorous selection process and then engage in quality training before they are staffed on a project.

Acceptance Rate
At 180 DC NITT, the selection of consultants takes place through a 3-phase process:
1. The first phase involves filling out a written application followed by a 15 minute interview
process.
2. In the second phase, applicants will be given intensive training sessions by 180DC consultants
and industry leaders from the field. This phase concludes with a case competition.
3. Applicants who get shortlisted for phase 3 would get an opportunity to work on a live project
with 180DC consultants, followed by a final interview.
9. QUALITY ASSURANCE-II
Each project team at 180DC, NIT-T follows a multi-tiered internal structure to maintain a high degree of accountability.
Regular training sessions enable us to fulfil our deliverables to the best of our abilities.
