Profile
Over 25 years procurement experience within the following industries: Nuclear, Engineering,
Manufacturing, Utilities, NHS, Public Sector, Housing Association, Construction, C,E&I and
Decommissioning and many other areas of purchasing. I am currently seeking a new position within
procurement.
I have lead procurement contracts from concept to completion and I have improved and enhanced
business procedures and strategies. I am a good communicator and team player or I can work
individually to achieve stakeholder and client goals and requirements. I have also been responsible for
staff management, who I have mentored closely whilst enhancing their ability through training programs
and techniques to achieve their full potential.

Achievements
• Setting up of a new procurement department over a 2 year period which included leading
negotiations and new techniques, writing new procurement specifications, introducing
procurement manuals, guides and procedures. Undertaking supply chain management,
reducing spends and costs and ensuring best practice for buying all the companies
requirements throughout the company
• Responsible for setting up new NEC3 contracts and placement of new NEC3 contracts
• Responsible for setting up new contracts and agreements for utilities who had never previously
had contracts in place, this included new specification requirements
• Undertook the tender and placement of OJEU contracts and agreements
• Introduced and produced a new tender and contract requirement excel spreadsheet that
detailed all items of all project purchases including required documentation to be issued in the
tender to be part of the contract and also the expected documentation and requirements to be
returned from suppliers
• Introduced and produced new environmental procedures including producing a unique ticking
list guide to be used on each contract throughout procurement
