How to Apply
At Kohl's we believe in the power of education and the opportunities it brings. We are excited to offer the Kohl's
Dependent Scholarship Program in 2015 to help make college more affordable for Kohl's Associates and their
dependents.
Application Deadline: April 15, 2015
Applications must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m. Central time, April 15, 2015
Official transcripts must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m. Central time, April 15, 2015
Recommendations must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m. Central time, April 22, 2015
Step 1: Read the Program Brochure.
Step 2: Register. Start by clicking on Log In / Register at the top of this page. If you have not registered, you will
need to do so. Click the Register link, read and agree to terms for this program, supply a unique and valid email
address, and create a username and password.
Correspondence throughout the process will be by email. Students failing to use a valid, active email account that
will accommodate bulk mail may not receive messages and be given consideration. Be sure to add
kohlsdependent@scholarshipamerica.org and no-reply@scholarshipamerica.org to your contacts or address book
and check your email regularly!
Complete the application by entering data in the format described. Proper punctuation and standard capitalization
(Jill Smith, 10 Main Street, New York, NY) must be used.
During the application process, you may leave the site prior to submission by closing out of the form and clicking the
Log Out link located on the upper right corner of the portal. To return, you must log into your portal using your
username and password. You can then access data that has been saved to your forms.
Step 3: Take the Eligibility Quiz. After you register, you'll be directed to the eligibility quiz. If you pass the eligibility
quiz, the remainder of the application will launch automatically. If you do NOT pass the eligibility quiz, you will
receive a notification and the application will not be available to you.
Step 4: Complete the Application. You'll be able to return to the application and edit as frequently as desired. After
you have submitted the application, or after the deadline, the applicatiokn will no longer be available.
Scholarship Management Services will email acknowledgment of receipt of all submitted applications.
