Recent Career Achievements
I am currently contracting at Prudential as a Finance Systems

the following successes:

sources to provide accurate figures for income accruals
- Provided checking and reconciliation tools to allow the
users to have confidence in the figures provided
- Carried out robust system testing, and assisted users
throughout user-acceptance testing
- Provided training and guidance notes to users, and
continue to provide them with ongoing support
Other achievements in this role have included:
- Wrote a robust application development methodology,
for use throughout the Finance Systems team
- Built a suite of QlikView models for a new system,
including one for the production of journal data files
which flawlessly load into PeopleSoft
- Built a QlikView model for complex reconciling of data
between the finance system and an analysis system
I was previously working at loss adjuster's Cunningham

project, where my achievements included:
- Enhanced existing software with new database tables
and SQL coding to expand its use
- Used Crystal Reports to build professional BACS
remittance advice templates for use by the RA software
- Created .reg files for the swift configuring of ODBC
connections
I had a number of other successes in the role including:

Above all, I value the time that I spend with my wife, son and baby daughter – Everything else in life makes sense
because of them. I greatly enjoy fundraising for charity: I was head of a group of fundraising volunteers for Save the
Children in Reading, for which I organised numerous fundraising events, including a charity gig and a “Christmas
Jumper Day” at my former workplace. I also enjoy a wide variety of movies and alternative music.
