To Whom it may concern,
I am writing about an individual, Robyn Nguyen, who I have had the honor to employ during the
scholastic year of 2014-15 as a member of the University of California, Santa Barbara soccer office staff.
I have had the privilege of working with Robyn and seeing her mature and develop throughout the
year.
Robyn worked for a two quarter-long internship position assisting the program in the design and
implementation of promotional strategies, as well as served as the administrative assistant assisting in
day-to-day operations in the office. Robyn helped manage several UCSB soccer websites and Gaucho
Gives programs as well as increased support and tickets sales by enhancing our growth and awareness
through promotional material via social networking media. Additionally, she was personally responsible
for delegating various marketing and promotional tasks and responsibilities to other interns in the
program, providing her with the opportunity to learn leadership and management skills. Robyn’s major
task was the management of the intern’s correspondence.
In addition, she assisted with university related support groups, recruiting events, and other marketing
initiatives. Robyn is a self-starter who has high energy, is organized, and has excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. She has proficiency in computer skills, and demonstrated an overall knowledge
of, and experience with, our programs and incorporated these skills into her daily tasks.
Robyn is an individual whose commitment to her work is unwavering. Over the semesters she continually
improved. Her energy and overall willingness to work hard set the standard for all the interns in the
office. Her commitment and ability to always bringing a positive presence and spirit around the office is
one of her strengths.
As an employee of UCSB soccer, Robyn excelled, and is sure to be a success within your company. As a
superior, I could always trust her to do her best. She was always committed to the task at hand, and I
