What is Rock Our World Productions? More than a fund-raising company, an event planning company, or consulting firm.  Rock Our World is all of the above, providing measurable support that substantially benefits the non-profit industry by providing an alternative to antiquated fund-raisers that don’t work anymore.
Antiquated fund-raisers are any of the typical events non-profit organizations have been utilizing as a means to cultivate relationships and appropriate income. Examples of this are:  Silent auctions Gala dinners Tricky trays Broadway nights Speeches by local dignitaries  Golf Outings What are antiquated fund-raisers and why don’t they work?
What are antiquated fund-raisers and why don’t they work? These events do not work for two reasons:  1. The Economy 2. A generational shift in the demographic of the donor.
The Economy The economy is obviously the most predominant factor when considering a declining trend in fund-raising. The fact is that with an unemployment rate dangerously close to 10% and rising, heavy restriction on loans, and damaged housing and financial markets; our economy is badly scarred by recession. People simply do not have the discretionary income to fund a charitable organization. Especially if they feel they are getting no ROI.
A generational shift in the demographic of the donor. For the past two-three decades the demographic of the donor has been the Greatest Generation. This was a generation inspired by progress and advancement. They responded to events such as speeches and dinners. However, the Baby Boomer generation now controls the wealth. This is a generation united by their passions. This demographic has always expressed itself through culture and art. Engaging these dimensions and embracing an effort to channel fund-raising through media representing this shift in the donor demographic is the right way to cultivate relationships and further fund-raising efforts.
Our Approach Rock Our World Productions produces concert events that non-profit organizations can utilize as fund-raising opportunities by selling tickets and concessions, and gaining corporate sponsorship.
Our Approach With the understanding that music is the single most powerful medium in fostering emotional connection, we produce interactive, multi-media, theatrical rock shows with themes centered on hope, change, and that inspire a call to action within communities everywhere.
Our Approach Because of the interactive and multi-media nature our shows, we can individually package each show, tailoring it to tell the story of our client, and forging a deep, lasting emotional connection with all in attendance, a connection that goes home with them and becomes a part of their daily lives.
Our Approach To start, we provide a very lucrative fund-raising opportunity, where constituents can support their cause by purchasing an inexpensive concert ticket giving them a fun and memorable night out with friends and family. These audiences are comprised of people that have a preexisting relationship with the organization that now become emotionally bonded to their cause and emotionally vested in their organization. This makes the fund-raising revenue much more sustainable.
Our Business Model We operate through four core commitments in an effort to provide our clients with a ‘nothing to lose and everything to gain’ situation: 1. Generate substantial income for our clients through ticket sales, corporate sponsors, and concessions.  2. Provide in-house consultation on all logistics leading up to the event.  3. Create a more branded client organization.  4. Emotionally bond constituents to our client’s cause.

Case Study Organization XYZ decides to host a concert. Their annual operating budget is $1M. Working with Rock Our World they sell 750 tickets to their constituents at $30 each and secure a title sponsor at $10,000, a product sponsor at $5,000, and sell $1,000 worth of concessions on the night of the show.  The venue was supplied free of charge at a local community college with an agreement of donating $2,000 to the school’s education foundation. $2,000 had to be put into supplying security and EMS at the event. Organization XYZ already has General Liability Insurance which covers special events and Rock Our World’s insurance covers the rest. Another $1,500 went towards invitation postage, marketing costs, and tickets.
Tickets = 750 x 30 = $22,500 Sponsors    = $15,000 Concessions   = $1,000 Gross Profit    = $47,500 Expenses   = -$5,500 Net Profit = $42,000 Case Study

For every client we run full marketing communications campaigns. From start to finish we include an in depth analysis of the situation, identify constituencies, establish campaign goals, set objectives and strategies, identity tools for said strategies, form a budget and timeline, implement the campaign, and a post event analysis. Rock Our World

  • 1. What is Rock Our World Productions? More than a fund-raising company, an event planning company, or consulting firm. Rock Our World is all of the above, providing measurable support that substantially benefits the non-profit industry by providing an alternative to antiquated fund-raisers that don’t work anymore.
  • 2. Antiquated fund-raisers are any of the typical events non-profit organizations have been utilizing as a means to cultivate relationships and appropriate income. Examples of this are: Silent auctions Gala dinners Tricky trays Broadway nights Speeches by local dignitaries Golf Outings What are antiquated fund-raisers and why don’t they work?
  • 3. What are antiquated fund-raisers and why don’t they work? These events do not work for two reasons: 1. The Economy 2. A generational shift in the demographic of the donor.
  • 4. The Economy The economy is obviously the most predominant factor when considering a declining trend in fund-raising. The fact is that with an unemployment rate dangerously close to 10% and rising, heavy restriction on loans, and damaged housing and financial markets; our economy is badly scarred by recession. People simply do not have the discretionary income to fund a charitable organization. Especially if they feel they are getting no ROI.
  • 5. A generational shift in the demographic of the donor. For the past two-three decades the demographic of the donor has been the Greatest Generation. This was a generation inspired by progress and advancement. They responded to events such as speeches and dinners. However, the Baby Boomer generation now controls the wealth. This is a generation united by their passions. This demographic has always expressed itself through culture and art. Engaging these dimensions and embracing an effort to channel fund-raising through media representing this shift in the donor demographic is the right way to cultivate relationships and further fund-raising efforts.
  • 6. Our Approach Rock Our World Productions produces concert events that non-profit organizations can utilize as fund-raising opportunities by selling tickets and concessions, and gaining corporate sponsorship.
  • 7. Our Approach With the understanding that music is the single most powerful medium in fostering emotional connection, we produce interactive, multi-media, theatrical rock shows with themes centered on hope, change, and that inspire a call to action within communities everywhere.

Our Approach Because of the interactive and multi-media nature our shows, we can individually package each show, tailoring it to tell the story of our client, and forging a deep, lasting emotional connection with all in attendance, a connection that goes home with them and becomes a part of their daily lives.

Our Approach To start, we provide a very lucrative fund-raising opportunity, where constituents can support their cause by purchasing an inexpensive concert ticket giving them a fun and memorable night out with friends and family. These audiences are comprised of people that have a preexisting relationship with the organization that now become emotionally bonded to their cause and emotionally vested in their organization. This makes the fund-raising revenue much more sustainable.
  • 10. Our Business Model We operate through four core commitments in an effort to provide our clients with a ‘nothing to lose and everything to gain’ situation: 1. Generate substantial income for our clients through ticket sales, corporate sponsors, and concessions. 2. Provide in-house consultation on all logistics leading up to the event. 3. Create a more branded client organization. 4. Emotionally bond constituents to our client’s cause.

  • 15. Case Study Organization XYZ decides to host a concert. Their annual operating budget is $1M. Working with Rock Our World they sell 750 tickets to their constituents at $30 each and secure a title sponsor at $10,000, a product sponsor at $5,000, and sell $1,000 worth of concessions on the night of the show. The venue was supplied free of charge at a local community college with an agreement of donating $2,000 to the school’s education foundation. $2,000 had to be put into supplying security and EMS at the event. Organization XYZ already has General Liability Insurance which covers special events and Rock Our World’s insurance covers the rest. Another $1,500 went towards invitation postage, marketing costs, and tickets.
