 Carrying out optimization and Radio Frequency (RF) acceptance testing as well
as site survey and sector planning of new sites of rural areas.
 Analyzing the predicted RF coverage by using software tools after entering the
site parameters.
 Conducting RF planning activities and classifying the clutter into various
segments such as urban, dense urban, semi urban, rural, etc.
 Conducting RF drive test using drive test tool and analyzing drive test results
on software tool for the RF optimization/improvement of the network.
 Conducting Frequency planning for Reliance
 Predicting Coverage plots by use of Atoll.
 Knowledge in Samsung Equipment EnodeB.
 Monitoring Service Effecting Alarms of EnodeB.
 Analyse customer complains & take necessary actions to resolve.

Dump analyses, checking ADJW & IRAT Handover parameters and definition.
 Preparing cluster route for Drive Test by using MAP INFO and Google earth.
 Troubleshooting problems like missing neighbors, coverage holes, pilot
pollution, area of no dominance, code plan problems, overshooting sites etc.
through drive log analysis.
 RF coverage optimization using antenna tilt and azimuth fine tuning for
optimal coverage overlap and reduction of pilot pollution to improve Ec/Io to
get better throughput.
 Recommendation of neighbor optimization and physical optimization to
achieve desired Pilot coverage.
 Perform initial RF tuning and optimization based on drive test result to
improve RF coverage, eliminate pilot pollution, detect missing neighbor and
compare before/after drive test to verify the adjustment.
 Responsible for report preparation to be done by the data processers and the
reports submission to the client.
 Knowledge of Drive test of 3G (WCDMA) network on TEMS.
 Data drive Test for WCDMA and GSM network.
 SCFT of new sites 3G.
 Check daily reports from OMC and Analyzing the worst Performing Cells based on
high drop call rate, high assignment fail ratio, High Handover failure, poor call
Success rate, and Poor Uplink and downlink Quality.
 Primary optimization for verifying existing coverage, sites
design objectives, pointing coverage holes
 Cluster Pre & Post Drive after Optimization.
 Network-Optimization by drive tests, antenna tilts,
Antenna orientation changes and tuning the Cell-RF
Parameters. Drive test data to determine Network problems,
poor Coverage areas, interference, call drops and
Handover problems.
