A nation is considered developed if it is developed entrepreneurially. In other
words, the development of the nation is dependent upon the supply of
entrepreneurs in a nation.
Earliest, it was believed that “ENTREPRENEUR ARE BORN NOT
CREATED”. However it has been proved it was merely a myth and not reality.
The outcome of experiment of Dr. David McClelland, a Harvard behavioral
scientist, at Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh during the sixties, otherwise known as
Kakinada experience was a giant leap towards breaking the above myth.
INTRODUCTION
 Now a days various types of steel furniture like Elmira, Table, Chair, Racks,
etc are the normal requirements of a household. Steel Elmira is practically used
almost in every house, office, shop, educational- institution, library etc. These
have become essential in all these places because they are used to keep clothes,
paper, documents etc. safe and intact.
 The market for steel furniture is on rise. Steel furniture is not only in demand
for household but also in government office, bank etc. They are purchasedinbulk
by commercial houses every year. Considering their increasing demand, the
manufacturing units of these products are being established successfully not only
in big cities but also in small townships.
STEEL FABRICATION SHOP
 SIZING
 BLENDING
 WELDING
 FITTING OF PARTS
 ASSEMBLY
 SCRUB
 SPRAY PAINTING
 READY FOR SALE
BASIC STEPS FOR FABRICATION
 SIZING:- It is an operation by which we can cut the
ms/steel plate to required size.
 BLENDING:- It is an operation by which we can mix with
another metals for more strength.
 WELDING:- It is an operation of permanent joining of
two materials through localized coalescence resulting from a
suitable combination of temp.,pressure and metallurgical
conditions.
 FITTINGS OF PARTS:- It is an operation by which we
can tightly join the parts by the help of nuts and bolts ,screws
etc.
 ASSEMBLING:- It is an operation by which we can join the parts
to it’s proper position.
 SCRUB:- It is an operation by which we can perform the
finishing operations like chipping, hammaering, polishing etc.
 SPRAY PAINTING:- It is an operation by which we can paint the
parts ,coloring it and by spraying method.
 READY FOR SALE:- After all operations are over then it is
tested then ready to serve the customer.
 This project is based on single shift and 300 working days.
 Since this fabrication shop is labour – intensive so working
efficiency is 80%.
 Cost of machinery is on the cost sheet.
 Installation and electrification cost is taken as 10% of cost of
machinery equipment.
 Interest on capital investment has been taken 16% per annum.
 Minimum 25% of total investment is required to margin
money.

SURVEY ON TOP BRANDS WITH LOCATION
 In rural areas, the presence of one major employer with attractive
benefits packages can leave smaller businesses in the area the choice
between losing employees and incurring high benefits expenses.
 This principle applies to a wide variety of industries in addition to steel
making.
LABOUR AND MARKET CONDITION :-
 No industry operates in a vacuum; none is self-sufficient.
 As one small fabrication shop maker puts it, “Our shop is independent
in the sense that we make all of our own products . . . but there are
sometimes that we must obtain from other industries.
 This would include some ingredients, product labels, containers, and
shipping boxes.
SUPPORT INDUSTRIES :-
 From the above report it can be inferred that steel industry in India is
very competitive. Due to the competition among the companies,
customers are getting benefits.
 The living standard of the human being is improving. Majority of the
customers belong to the ISI category of steel. They are able to use
them.
 So that their market share will increase.
CONCLUSION :-
THANK YOU…
