• The cause of almost any reproductive abnormality can be the result
of genetic and physiological events that occurred in any one (or in
some combination) of three people - the mother, father, and child.

• Did you know that your taste buds are actually being deceived when you eat junk
food?
• The Science Creative Quarterly posted an article which states: “monosodium
glutamate, or more commonly known as MSG, is added to almost every fast food
and take-out meal we eat.
MSG in foods acts through our taste buds on the tongue giving us the “umami”
taste sensation which is described as meaty, brothy, and savoury.
From the tongue, this signal is relayed up to the cerebral cortex in the brain telling
us that what we’re eating is delicious and tasty.
MSG has been shown to stimulate appetite in humans and it reduces costs for the
food processors. For example, fast-food restaurants have mastered this
technique in their beef patties for their burgers. Adding MSG to the beef patties
gives the same meaty, savoury taste as real beef. Therefore, fast-food processors
have no need to use a 100% beef patty, and thus are able to reduce costs.
MSG is practically the most profitable ingredient in the food industry –
stimulating palatability so that consumers eat more or come back for more while
cutting costs in their food products all at the same time.
• When our taste buds are activated and satisfied, we not only eat less, we get a
healthy balance of nourishing food.

It is not what the pH of a food is before consumption that matters, but rather what it
becomes once digested that makes all the difference to your health.

The pH scale goes from 0 to 14 and is logarithmic, which means that each step is ten times the
previous. In other words, a pH of 5 is 10 times more acid than 6, 100 times more acid than 7 and
1,000 times more acid than 8. In this light, you can see how a slight change in your pH value can
have a great impact on your internal environment and, ultimately, your health.
When healthy, the blood pH is 7.365, the pH of spinal fluid is 7.4, and the saliva pH is 7.4. This
ideal blood pH measurement means it is more alkaline than acid.
While it is commonly understood that the body needs calcium to build bones, what is not
generally known is bones are a complex matrix of many different minerals and if all the
required minerals are not present then strong bones cannot be built.

13. How Do I Test My pH?
Blood
•Whilst not as convenient as the urine or saliva test, the blood test is usually more accurate.
•Beside being toxic to cells, acidic blood also increases your risk of cancer because it decreases
oxygen and nutrient levels in your body.
•Studies have shown that people with acidosis have higher risk of heart disease, cancer,
osteoporosis, diabetes, arthritis and are more susceptible to diseases
Urine
•The pH of the urine indicates how the body is working to maintain the proper pH of the blood.
•The pH of urine indicates the efforts of the body via the kidneys, adrenals, lungs and gonads to
regulate body pH balance through the buffer salts and hormones.
•Urinary pH tends to be lower in the morning and higher in the evening.
Saliva
•The Saliva PH test measures your susceptibility to cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis,
and many other degenerative diseases.
•It represents the most consistent and most definitive physical sign of the ionic calcium
deficiency syndrome which means that your alkaline mineral reserves are too low and the body
does not have the minerals necessary to properly process food.

• Time - You must wait at least 2 hours after eating before testing.

The blood pH test needs to be done in a laboratory.
There are pH strips that you can buy for this very purpose. They will only test your urine and saliva but if you want to know what the pH of your blood is, then you can request that test from your doctor.
