I am writing this letter to give my highest possible recommendation for Roman Soloryov. I met
Roman through his One Year internship program with us from August,2012 to August 2013.
Throughout his internship in Accounts and Finance department, Roman has been involved in many
projects through which he demonstrated the ability to work independently with great creativity and
enthusiasm and demonstrated remarkable problem solving ability
Some of his tasks included
Setting up sales, purchase and nominal Ledgers and keep up to date these ledgers as
required using Sage Line 50, Quick books and Excel Spread Sheets
Raising Sales invoices, credit notes, customer's monthly statements and allocation of sales
receipts against customer's accounts on Sage Line 50 and excel spread sheets
Processing purchase invoices, supplier's statements reconciliation, dealing with suppliers
invoice queries & purchase orders using Sage Line 50 and Excel spread sheets
Cheque payment to pay suppliers, Bank Receipt bank reconciliation Preparation and
submission of quarterly VAT return to HMRC
Maintain filing system, date wise and alphabetical order
Monthly, Weekly Payroll, Preparation of payslips, Summary Reports, P60's, P11D, P14, Year
End closing and online submission of P35 using Sage Payroll
Preparation of monthly and quarterly journals,(prepayment, accruals, fixed assets)
Helping accountants to prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
Preparation of final trial balance to produce final accounts.
Preparation of Final accounts using Sage Accounts Production Advanced (SAPA)
Preparing monthly and yearly management accounts for management review.
Developing understating of implementing FRSSE for small and medium enterprises.
Everyone working with Roman has commented favorably about working with him. He got along well
with everyone, pulled his own weight on any given task, and had the ability to compromise with other
team members.
In summary, Roman was the best intemship student I have worked with so far. We wish him best for
his further education in University of Sunderland.
