Summary of Experience:
To date I have had a progressive career on and off-shore in Engineering and Construction within
the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear, Marine Industry, Power Generation – Coal Fire &
Nuclear. This has also included the building / refit of F.P.S.O’s and Oil Rigs giving me an established,
well developed and experienced Management and working knowledge of the Industry.
An enthusiastic and dedicated professional Construction Leader with excellent Management Skills. In
previous roles I have pre-engineered project work scopes, executed the works then commissioned and
closed out the work on site. I also work well towards project milestones and programmed dates. I
consider myself to be highly motivated, diligent and ambitious, with the ability to integrate easily into
any site or office environment.
The industry has made vast improvements in safety standards over the last number of years and I am
pleased and proud to be part of this improvement. I am totally committed to safety standards and the

Job Placements and Duties:
Wood Group PSN: Talisman/ Sinopec Contract: from 02/05/12 to present
Lead Construction Engineer: Part of my role is to ensuring that my Construction Team works
productively and efficiently to milestones and deadlines. My responsibilities also include the production
of in-depth Constructability Reviews and the presentation of these to the client. I oversee and validate
the compilation of Scope of Work Documents, Construction Workpacks and discipline Jobcards for Off-
shore Project workscopes.
Wood Group PSN: Talisman / Sinopec Contract: from 21/02/11 to 01/05/12.
Senior Construction Engineer: Compilation of Construction Workpacks and job cards for offshore
project works, vessels & exchangers. Part of my role is to perform Off-shore for site surveys and also to
facilitate round the table Constructability Reviews for the required Workscopes. At the clients request I
went offshore as a Project Co-ordinator/Consultant for the replacement of a Fired Heater (FH-201) and
the refurbishment its Combustion Chamber.
INEOS: T.A.R. Team Grangemouth: from 05/10/09 to 18/02/11
Engineer & Co-ordinator: Engineering of faults and general deterioration of plant and systems into
an E.I.T. (Engineering Information Transmittal) then issue these to the contractors, this allowed the
sub-contractors to have a defined scope of works for the TAR. Read understand and validate Multi
discipline Workpacks and planned Manhours to complete the workscope. During the TAR I would
ensure that the optimum performance from each sub-contractor was achieved and work progressed on
plan or better. Checked and punched out finished jobs, then completed the required QA paper work to
except the jobs as construction complete.
INEOS: Infrastructure/Utilities Grangemouth: from 16/05/08 until 05/10/09
Construction Engineer: Involved from the initiation kick-off through implementation to job
completion on a number of key projects in varying sizes, from civil works to mechanical
destruct/construct for the Remediation Project across the full Grangemouth Complex. As part of the
Sites H.P. Steam Circuit TAR Team, I was in charge of the Replication Team who would check for any
welding related external defects i.e. Fatigue & Creep Crack Propagation.
INEOS: T.A.R. Team Grangemouth: from 14/02/08 to 16/05/08
Construction Engineer & Co-ordinator: Responsible for the organization of work and the
co-ordination of multiple discipline contractors within my area, to make sure that no conflicts of interests
arose and that all works were properly input to the three day look-ahead. Ensure that the optimum
performance from each contactor was achieved. This TAR was brought in ¾ million pounds under
budget.
INEOS: Grangemouth Kinneil Pumps: from 14/11/07 to 14/01/08
Project Engineer: Responsible for the workmanship, performance, organization and general
discipline of the allocated supervision and multiple discipline workforce, all in accordance with the Site
Engineering Technical procedures and standards, during the refurbishment of the Kinneil Pumps.
Doosan Babcock: Grangemouth E3 T.A.R: from 02/09/07 to 11/11/07
Construction Engineer: Duties include the pre-engineering of work scopes, data inputting to PICS
and compiling of Workpacks, this includes job method statements, bill of materials, isometrics, pipe and
valve specs also the red line marking up of P&ID’s and plot plans.
