Hanergy Profile : Hanergy Holding Group is a global clean energy multi-
national corporation, the world's largest thin-film solar power generation
enterprise.
Established in 1994 and with its headquarters in Beijing, the company now
employs more than 10,000 staff. With branch offices in several provinces
in China as well as in the two Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East

Through technology acquisition and innovation, Hanergy has become
a world leader in thin-film solar technology.The maximum research
conversion efficiency of its copper indium gallium selenide(CIGS)
technology has reached 21%, as certified by Germany’s Fraunhofer
Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), and its gallium arsenide (GaAs)
technology’s research conversion efficiency has reached 30.8%, as certified
by the U.S.’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
Hanergy engages in power plant resource development in the world. It has
entered into agreements with Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Jiangsu,
Hainan, Shandong, Hebei and other provinces as well as some European
countries for thin-film power plants construction with a total capacity of
about 10 GW. Hanergy has become a high-tech clean energy company,
with business involvements in the entire value chain of the thin-film power
generation industry, spanning from technology R&D, high-end equipment
manufacture to panel/module production and power plant construction.
In February 2014, the world's most influential technology business
award - "the world's most innovative companies" sponsored by the "MIT
Technology Review" was announced. Hanergy Holding Group ranked 23rd
place on the winner list, the only Chinese energy company winning the
award.

The effective application of PV solar technology on premises of waste landfills
encounters many difficulties. When the plant is just completed, there could be large
amount of sinking, with uneven local settlements. Hence it is difficult to determine the
bearing capacity of the foundation. The uncertainty of landfill materials and surface
subsidence carries great impact, while at the same time, exudate and methane
fermentation also contribute to the non-utilization of this land resources. As the
degradation and stabilization of landfills require more than 20 years, the construction

Technical features:
1. The temperature coefficient of thin film panels is smaller than that of crystalline silicon panels. When installed
on the roof, especially in small dip angle installation, heat dissipation of modules is limited, and thin film
modules may have better power output characteristics.
2. Thin film has the advantage of weak light. In the condition of lower solar irradiance, such as in the morning,
