Move it or lose it! We often hear those words, but many of us
are not heeding the warning. Tai chi chih is a simple form of
exercise that connects the body and mind through enhanced
awareness. It can lower stress and blood pressure, reduce
the likelihood of costly falls, and help prevent diabetes, heart
disease, and obesity. People of all ages and abilities can enjoy
the scientifically proven ancient movements. Come learn
some basic techniques, and start thinking about how you can
promote better health in your Rotary club and community.

Glad you have saved the Best for Last! : )
I am a Native New Mexican living in a cool little town called Truth or Consequences……how would you like that reminder?
I have been a Physical Therapist for 25 years.
I have been a member of the Truth or Consequences Rotary Club of Truth or Consequences for 18 years.
I have practiced Tai Chi Chih for over 10 years now.
My Tai Chi Story starts here…….
We will all carry burdens in life and they seem to get heavier the older we get.
Tai Chi Chih has been been a tool and a friend that has helped me to stay the course.
Exploding healthcare costs are a huge burden for people to bear in the U.S. and around the World. We need to recall
And live by the maxim “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.
“Service to Humanity” reminds me of Rotary. Justin Stone was a Rotarian at heart!
All things have Intrinsic Energy. This watch has thing a multitude of functions operating in its field, energized by a batter.
My turqouise ring my father gave me has its own intrinisic energy. We know that on an electron level there is a lot of movement
Occuring here even though we can’t see it. And we as humans have our own intrinisic energy.
Children Love to move! Reconnect with your inner child!
Take time to give thanks to important people…..my Parents who taught me to relax by working, my home club, the Rotary Club of Truth or Consequences, my Tai Chi Chih mentors: Mearajoy Norice, Sister Antonia Cooper, Anne Rutherford and my students who help me feel the Chi by sharing the Chi.
