Annual Certification Renewal
• Renewal materials were sent to current and
incoming DGs and Youth Exchange chairs in
early May – due date is 1 June
• Ensures consistency across turnover in
district leadership
• Confirms correct district chair appointments

Recertification
• Recertification materials were also sent to
approximately 70 districts in early May –
applications due 1 June; materials due 1
September
• Almost all districts have successfully completed
recertification!
• Successes:
– Reduction of alternatives
– Improvement in documentation
– Increased consistency

Program Evaluations
• Staff continue to perform 4-5 onsite program
evaluations each year
• Over 30 evaluations performed in 25
countries
• Ensures compliance with certification
requirements and shares best practices
